Final newsletter of the year
End of an era
As well as being the final newsletter of the 2009 – 2010 academic year, this is also the last one to be sent out as a paper copy. From September, unless we have a reply slip for you to complete, all newsletters and other letters will be emailed to you. It will be very important that you keep us up to date with any change of email address or ISP. If you are unable to receive email, please let us know so we can ensure there will be enough hard copies for you to collect. As we enter really challenging times financially, every saving we can make means we have more to spend on our prime purpose: your child’s education. The use of email and text, together with our launch of ‘Wizkid’ in September will ensure that we keep you all in touch in a speedy and cost effective way. (I know that mobile phone numbers change frequently: can you please make a mental note to include Mayhill on the list of people you inform when you upgrade or change provider.)

Enterprise Week
Enterprise week was definitely a week to remember!
Four days of fun-packed stuff, and at the end we make a lot of brilliant products!
It consisted of these days: Brainstorming, Budgeting, Manufacturing and Selling!

Mayhill Gardening Club
The first year of the Mayhill Junior School Gardening Club is drawing to an end with a positive glut of produce from our extremely successful group. The area behind the fence at the top playground had become overgrown with weeds, brambles and vegetation over the years, and the hard work and enthusiasm of the Gardening Club has transformed this area into a safe and productive oasis.
