On Monday 24^th September, Year 4 embarked on a fantastic day trip to Fishbourne Roman Palace in Chichester. The trip really helped with our topic of The Romans! We had tours, watched a movie, took part in a workshop and had a lovely lunch in the sunshine. It was a terrific day and we learnt lots too! We learnt that the Palace was built around 75AD, roughly 30 years after the Romans arrived! We had a fun day exploring the mosaics and touring the huge gardens; we definitely recommend it! We will be writing about our day trip in our literacy lessons next week.
