On Thursday 7^th February, Year 4 were fortunate enough to partake in a trip to Winchester Science Centre.  What an exciting day we had!  After a discovery session which involved interacting with various exhibits, including the colon café, we had the opportunity to participate in a sound workshop which linked to our science topic for this term.  Balloons, blow torches and loud bangs got us excited about our learning, and working in pairs helped us discover more about sound.  The highlight for many of us came after lunch when we had our planetarium visit.  For most, this was a new experience, and one which filled us all with wonder.  So many questions!  The journey home was filled with discussions and debates which fuelled our curiosity. This was a day which will be talked about for many weeks to come!
