No we haven't had a very tall Year 6 join our school! To complete the official handover of our kit we were able to welcome netball superstar Ama Agbeze on to our court. Ama, winner of a commonwealth bronze medal and holder of over 50 England netball caps, put our team through their paces and also took a series of sessions for all of our Y5 and 6 children.  To top off a fantastic session Ama presented a signed netball to a player that really stood out over the afternoon, (Evelyn Rylance - well done and look after that ball!) and even joined in a chorus of Happy Birthday for our birthday girl, Elizabeth Binney. Our thanks go out to both Mrs Crimbles and to Ama for the inspiration they have given all of the children in year 5 and 6 to try out netball and also to our team to aspire to be the best they can be.
