Bread-Entrepreneurs Galore!

This week saw 6M and 6R conduct their first bake in their Bakeries. The groups  produced a loaf of bread each and tasted their bakes in order to decide what they needed to work on next time. Our focus is 'what's the risk of not changing.' Each group could identify where they needed to improve for their final bakes. 

The children's cookery skills improved and they gained an insight into the use of the yeast and its important role in creating light, fluffy dough. 

We do hope you all enjoyed tasting the bread the children brought home for you (if they didn't eat it all on the way home!) 

We are looking forward to welcoming you in to taste their final bakes on Wednesday 23rd Nov between 2:15 and 2:45.
