Fantastic French Timetables
In French this term we have been learning all about the French timetable. We have learnt how to say the curriculum subjects in French and we were fascinated to learn that French days of the week don't need capitalising!
During our French lessons we've been looking at the school day and piecing together sentences using the French words we've learnt throughout the unit.
The children have used time prepositions, verbs and nouns in French in order to create sentences about the school day.
We've been learning about pronunciation and found that the 's' used at the end of a word in French is muted.
We also improved our confidence as many of us are reluctant to speak in French aloud. We've recorded ourselves on Seesaw saying full sentences, so do log in and listen.
