The Spring Term is here!

The children have come back to school well rested after the Christmas holidays and have enjoyed a short week of learning between Wednesday 4th Jan and Friday 6th. 

We kicked off our new topic of 'How do mountains and rivers make life possible' by looking at what the children already knew about the earth's surface and the continents and countries that they know of. 

The children made their very own globes with balloons and atlases- we did have a few 'pops' along the way as you can imagine. 

They also came up with some excellent questions about rivers and mountains to kick off the topic. 

This topic will come to an end when we visit a river and carry out a river study in Selborne in March. 

A great start to 2023 year 6!
