During the Spring term, year 6 are lucky enough to have Mrs Abrahams from Robert May's languages department visit to teach them a small amount of German and Spanish, to help the children transition into secondary school.

At Mayhill we teach French as our modern foreign language,. However, we noticed that the children then started Secondary school with no Spanish or German experience. With this in mind, Mrs McLaughlin and the RMS team organised the transition work to introduce the children to a friendly RMS face (for those going to RMS) and to experience the other languages they may come across in year 7.
