Now the SATs are over, the children have refocused on the rest of this term. Mrs McLaughlin has spent hours pouring over the script and learning the songs to teach the children and she revealed the title of the performance to year 6 this afternoon. 
The children were overjoyed to hear it was Matilda and the many roles available for children to apply for were revealed. 
Over the next week, Mrs McLaughlin will explain the requirements for the auditions clearly; we will allow the children time to practise before the auditions in a few weeks time. 
We do hope you will support the school and the children and come and watch the show in July once the rehearsals are over.
