SATs are finished!

Now that SATs are over, Year 6 have been reflecting and should be hugely proud of themselves for demonstrating all the Mayhill habits.
With the week starting off with a bank holiday Monday, our year 6s came into their first yummy SATs breakfast ready to tackle the week. Some were feeling a little nervous (adults too!) and others were treating it as, 'just another practice'. However they were feeling, the sense of community and support for each other was wonderful to witness.
After filling themselves with brioche, fruit, yoghurts and juice, they were fuelled and ready to try their best with their tests. They certainly did just that.

After 4 SATs breakfasts and 6 different SATs papers, it was over and for most, the week seemed to go rather quickly.
On Friday, we celebrated with a SATs party in the hall where we drew a raffle, danced our socks off and sung our hearts out: a brilliant end to a week of hard work.

We are hugely proud of all the children in Year 6. Thank you to all the fabulous staff members that came to help with the breakfasts each morning: you were a huge part of the happiness of the children and the success of the week.
