Supporting your child in English

English forms an important part of our Curriculum at Mayhill.  Children partake in reading, writing, spelling and handwriting lessons every week.  The following links will help your child to practise key skills, which underpin the English Curriculum.

'Oxford Owl Maths - Including an online maths dictionary

The Oxford University Press have developed this site to support parents in helping their children with mathematics. You'll find lots of advice, support, games and fun activities showing how best to help your child develop their mathematical skills to enable them to become maths wizards! There's also information on what some of the technical 'jargon' means. In addition why not have a look at some of the other sections this invaluable website offers for learning times tables and spellings too.
