The last two weeks before Christmas we are learning about the journey that Ernest Shackleton took. He and a crew of 27 ventured to the Antarctica in hope to walk across the whole of Antarctica. A few days later his ship got stuck in ice, the ice kept on pressing in and breaking the ship so they left and set up a camp on the ice next to the ship. Shackleton decided to take five men plus himself to South Georgia and seek help. Finally, he found help and rescued the 22 men he left on the ice and they sailed back to their homes. I hope you enjoyed this summary; our final piece is to write a non-chronological report.
