Year 5 Space Day September 2026

On our space day we did activities. They were very fun. Some of the things we did were: wearing big gloves while building with lego to see how astronoauts would feel when trying to fix something whilst wearing their gloves- it was very hard! We also designed our own planets. In the afternoon we designed and built launch towers. The towers had to be made from paper, paper clips and tape and had to hold up a metere ruler for 10 seconds. We tested each one to see how long they stayed standing for. It was a really fun day and we hope to have another one! By Faye and Zara.
