The NSPCC provide services across England to help give children, young people and families the support they need. They also provide help and support through Childline and their workshops with schools. On Monday 4th December 2023, year 5 and 6 had a workshop with the NSPCC talking about neglect, sexual abuse and emotional abuse and how you should tell a trusted adult or talk to them across the phone or text if you have any problems that need sorting out as they believe that every child’s voice should be heard. They gave everybody a ‘Speak out, stay safe kit’ which helps us to know who to speak to if we feel unsafe. It also helped us make a finger flexor (fortune teller) which told us different scenarios where you should speak out and tell someone.
